Feb bull out of one of our best cow families - the D family. This calf is moderate birth and very easy fleshing.

515: Gunsmoke x 10Y

Close relation to the 517 bull with the same sire (National Champion Gunsmoke) and same D cow family. Lots of muscle and length but with a touch of moderation in size as compared to 517.

516: Harverster x Proof

Harvester produces functional cattle with few faults and this calf fits that definition. Another one out of our D family. We are hoping to flush the dam. He comes with a lot of growth and muscle and out of a top producing cow. The Proof daughters have been consistently good females.

517: Gunsmoke son x 10Y cow

This February bull is out of National Champion bull Gunsmoke and our favorite D cow family. This bull has lots of eye appeal and really shows a lot of muscle and stretch.

MN Steer Test

The inaugeral year of the MN Steer Test is nearing closure. Participants will receive carcass and gain data and comparison to other steers on test. Awards will be given to top steers - Hereford and Hereford cross - at the annual banquet in Hutchinson the second Friday in December. If you'd like to participate in future tests please respond below.

2025 Minnesota Hereford Tour

Saturday, Sept, 20th at 8 am

Spend a day looking at cattle and meeting old and new friends. The tour features free transportation and meals along with an event at each stop. We'd love to host you for the day!

Stop by the Minnesota State Fair and visit our string. Our families (Larson/Carlson) have exhibited here for over 50 years. This is a great time to see view future sale consignments and herd bull prospects and take in the great Minnesota-get-together.
